Eurotel Hosted Voice T’s and C’s
These Conditions of Use are supplementary to Eurotel's standard terms and conditions applicable at the date of Order ("the Terms and Conditions"). These Conditions of Use will apply where a Customer makes an Order for the service supplied by Eurotel called Eurotel Hosted Voice ("the Service"). These Conditions of Use apply in addition to the Terms and Conditions, however, in the event of a conflict between the Terms and Conditions and these Conditions of Use, these Conditions of Use shall prevail. Terms defined in the Terms and Conditions shall have the same meaning in these Conditions of Use unless otherwise stated here.
1. Service Availability Any order for Eurotel Hosted Voice which is accepted by the company, pursuant to condition 2.1 of the Terms and Conditions, is conditional on the following: 1.1 We will supply the Service with reasonable skill and care 1.2 However, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error free. 1.3 By purchasing Eurotel Hosted Voice, you acknowledge that our Service: a) May not offer all the features and resilience you may expect from a conventional phone line. b) That the Service provided by us is not a Publicly Available Telephony (PATS) service and as a result, may sometimes be limited, unavailable or disrupted due to events beyond our control e.g. power disruptions, failures or the quality of the broadband connection.
2. Access to Emergency Calls 2.1 This Service allows calls to the emergency services 2.2 In the event of a power cut or a broadband connection failure the ability to make these calls will fail. In these circumstances, the end user should use an alternative non-IP line to make the emergency call.
3. Emergency Location Information 3.1 On occasions it may not be possible for emergency services personnel to identify the End User's location and telephone number on this Service, so this information should be stated promptly and clearly by the End User when making such a call.
4. Installation 4.1 Installation of the on-site equipment for the Eurotel Hosted Voice service can be completed either by the customer or by Eurotel – this is a choice the customer can make. 4.2 Eurotel recommends that the customer uses Eurotel’s installation service – there are restrictions on the length of phone cabling that may need addressing. Should the customer choose to install the equipment themselves, Eurotel cannot be held responsible for issues arising from the installation.
5. Handset returns 5.1 The Eurotel Hosted Voice service provides the customer with one phone handset per user. Unless the customers chooses to purchase these handsets outright up front, the handsets are provided as part of the Hosted Voice service as part of the monthly rental. The handsets remain the property of Eurotel Ltd. 5.2 At the end of the Customers contracted period the phones will be collected from the customer by Eurotel. The phones should be in good working order and subject only to normal wear and tear. A charge may be applied where the phones are excessively damaged.
6. Minimum contract term 6.1 Unless otherwise stated on the contract, the minimum term for Eurotel Hosted Voice is 3 years and is subject to the clauses outlined in the Eurotel Standard Terms and Conditions. 6.2 Early cancellation of the service by the customer prior to the three year contracted period will result in cancellation charges from Eurotel. 6.3 Additional items added to the Hosted Voice service by the customer following the initial system installation will be subject to a new three year contracted period.
